Consultancy & AEO

    Be the answer AI gives

AI search — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude — is replacing traditional search for buying decisions. Most sites are invisible to it. I audit, fix and monitor that, and consult on where AI fits in your business more broadly.

    AEO audit & implementation

    Get found, cited and recommended

llms.txt, structured data (JSON-LD), and content restructuring so LLM answer engines can actually find, cite and recommend your business — not just crawl it.

    AI & automation strategy

    Beyond search visibility

Where AI fits in your business, build-vs-buy calls, and a practical roadmap — the same strategy work I do for AI agent and automation clients, scoped to your business.

    Ongoing monitoring

    Visibility that keeps working

Answer engines change constantly. I re-audit and track citation and visibility over time, so the work done today still holds in six months.

Proof, not theory: this site ships its own llms.txt file, per-page JSON-LD (Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, VideoObject), and content structured for answer engines from the ground up — the same playbook applied here is the one I bring to clients.

    How it works

    01

    Audit your current visibility

I check whether AI answer engines can find, parse and cite your site today — structured data, llms.txt, content structure — and what’s blocking them.

    02

    Implement the fixes

llms.txt, JSON-LD, and content restructuring shipped directly, or handed to your team with documentation.

    03

    Monitor & iterate

Ongoing tracking as answer engines evolve, with re-audits so the visibility holds.

    Questions clients ask

What is AEO, and how is it different from SEO?

SEO gets your pages ranked in traditional search results. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) makes your content something an LLM — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google’s AI Overviews, Claude — can actually parse, trust and quote when someone asks it a question. The technical layer differs: structured data (JSON-LD), an llms.txt file, and content that answers questions directly instead of burying the answer under fluff. Good SEO is a foundation for AEO, not a replacement for it.

How do you measure AI-search visibility?

By testing real queries against the major answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews) before and after the work, tracking whether and how your business gets cited, and re-testing on a schedule since these engines update constantly. It’s not a vanity metric — it’s whether a real prospect asking a real question gets pointed at you.

Is this a one-time project or ongoing?

Both are on the table. The audit and initial implementation (llms.txt, structured data, content fixes) is a scoped project. Because answer engines change their crawling and ranking behavior often, most clients also want a lighter ongoing retainer to re-check visibility and adjust — similar to how technical SEO needs maintenance, not just a one-time setup.

Do you only do AEO, or also broader AI strategy consulting?

Broader. AEO is the most concrete, most measurable piece, but the same conversation usually surfaces bigger questions — where AI actually fits in the business, what to build versus buy, what to automate first. I do both: the technical AEO work, and the strategy consulting around it.
